For 25 years, Tove Jansson and her life partner, graphic artist Tuulikki Pietilä, spent the summer on the island of Klovharu in the Gulf of Finland. Both shot films and took photographs. The film «Haru» is based on Super-8 material that Tuuliki shot there between 1970 and 1991. Texts by Tove Jansson are heard in the off.
